I was planning to post something to do with Fall but missed the peak of the turned leaves by about a week. Instead, I did my best to take advantage of this bridge over the river. I’m not as brave as all of you scavenger hunt folks, so this was a quick snap with my jacket off but my shirt on. Maybe someday I’ll get the courage for more naked self portraits in public.
I do like how the light shines through the boards.

Courage has to be built in stages I find, and this is a great way to start. I keep meaning to start doing Scavenger Hunt too, but chicken out each and every time, so you’re way ahead of me already

Scavenger Hunt or not.. Having just your arm there makes me wonder what has the rest of you.
This is a wonderful photograph. It took me a long time before I was brave enough to post a scavenger hunt, one day you’ll be able to do it too 🙂

Thanks all! I was definitely going for the suggestion of nakedness. The suggestion that someone was there, making me need to cling to bridge rails for support. It would be a lovely spot for that kind of thing.

Such a beautifully-lit and framed shot! And I find the teasing glimpse of your arm quite sensual. You mention being brave, but it took us quite a long time before we’d even post a chaste, PG-rated image of ourselves on our blog. Every journey begins with a first step.
I agree with Flip, courage comes little by little and this is a beautiful image in its own right.
