Normally, I’m not fond of the negative effect in photography. However, as I was deciding what to do with the photos I attempted this week, I flipped through the effects in editing and kept coming back to this one. So, I decided to keep it.

Thank you! I didn’t want to say it in the post, but I totally think my breast looks like a butternut squash in this image 🙂 (now you will only be able to see that!) Not bad, but kind of funny.
WHY DID YOU MENTION THE BUTTERNUT SQUASH?! Until I read that I was thinking, ‘that’s cool’, ‘that’s gorgeous’! I still think that, but…butternut squash…*chortle*!! Great image. Xx

No one should have mentioned Butternut Squash… I was totally digging this image, then I read that, scrolled back up, and now my head is broken.
On a more serious note, I am not a fan of the negative edit either as a general rule. In fact so far I don’t think I have ever used it. There is something just too harsh about it that doesn’t tend to work for my images. However it is good fun to try it out now and then. You never know what vegetable you might turn into 😉

I’ve never been a fan of negatives either, although they do have their moments. In this case I think it adds a totally different perspective.
