One of my favorite simple pleasures is a nap in a patch of sun that streams in through a window. Napping in window sun is somehow a different pleasure than napping outside in the sun. Possibly something to do with window naps usually being due to a chill in the air outside.
I don’t take naps very often, but this weekend was particularly busy and by this afternoon, I couldn’t resist curling up in that little patch of warm light streaming across my bed.
(I know I’ve had a lot of window/sun shots lately, but I’ve already taken a shot one of my other favorite simple pleasures, and, I really do like working with the light).

Delicious. I know exactly what you mean about patches of sunlight; my bedroom gets the sun in the afternoon and there’s nothing nicer than hanging out in bed as the glass makes the sun warmer than it is on the outside! You look gorgeous in this little patch of light. Xx
