Honestly, when I first saw the prompt, all I could think was “I am tired.” Tired physically, as it’s a busy few months, but tired emotionally too. I had a conversation with my parents about the recent supreme court situation that left me upset and disappointed and sad for days. And that’s just one tiny example. I feel like most everyone I know is just plain worn down.
However, this photo is not about me being tired, or sad. I’ve done plenty of photos reflecting those things (which I’m too tired to link to here just now, but they are in the archives). When I think about what I am, I am multifaceted, I am layered, I am contradictory, I am fractured, I am whole, I am exposed, I am secretive. All of these thoughts have me an excuse to play with the double exposure setting in Snapseed.
I think the pic turned out to be quite interesting, and a little creepy, which is appropriate for October.

I have missed you Maria and I am delighted to see you back on Sinful Sunday. I am sorry about the tired part though although I totally hear you, I had a very disturbing conversation with my Dad a couple of weeks ago that has left me feeling similar thoughts and wondering how well I actually know him.
I love your image though, it really captures those things, layered, complex, fractured and yes it is delightfully creepy too and you know how I feel about creepy!
