While I’m no Bob Vila, I think I’m pretty handy fixing things around the house. I don’t always know what I’m doing, but I can usually find the answer from Google or by calling my dad. (I usually call Dad first, because I think he likes it, he’s generally quite smart about these things, and it’s a way for us to stay connected across the miles).
Even though I ask for advice, being able to carry out the task makes me feel competent and capable and sexy. Much like driving a stick shift does, and cooking delicious food, and unjamming the printer at work. (And giving well-received blow jobs, if I’m being honest).
In this case, it was a leaky pipe and I had to use two wrenches. 🙂
