This is a front version of Undo, a photo from 2015. I had a hard time posting that one, I thought the front shots were just too much at that time. Too much belly, too many rolls, etc. But looking back through, they are OK. It doesn’t make me cringe so much to look at them. That’s progress, something that is always underway and sometimes slow going, but progress nonetheless.
I think it is beautiful. Natural and simple and honest and real.
I love the softness of the light and the composition here. Such a simple daily act and yet I feel a bit of a voyeur. Really lovely.
